Default Set of 8s in PP400

Villain is TPA, with 6% preflop raise and lots of postflop aggression. Seems decent, but I haven't seen him play any big pots yet. Have him on 2 of my tables.
Line is inspired by Lee Watkinson, you like?

I think you bet too much when the board paired, anyone who thinks about it for a second can see the full house. Make it around 50-60.

I prefer the bet out or c-r on theflop given that you will get action from draws and other hands worse than yours but given your call the turn call is correct

Gotta love those underbets aimed at keeping people in the pot.

My thoughts behind the river bet were about that. Hoping he indeed had the ace, and that he didn't have the strength to lay it down. One of the biggest errors that decent players make in the 400 is betting too damn small.

Ya, overbetting the pot here is insane to me...bet out 2/3rds of his and hope to g-d he is dumb enough to reraise with the flush.
