PokerTracker Omaha Beta can be found on the official PT site. Way to Ptrack Mike! Supports Hi as well as Hi/Lo on Party, Stars and Paradise.

Tournament support and other sites are still in the works.

Shameless crosspost.

Anybody tried to use Gametime+ with this yet? I have and I can't get it to work.

Very few A2xx aren't worth playing in these games. I wouldn't say many A3xx aren't worth playing in loose low limit games. They're usually worth seeing a flop if you can count on 5+ players limping in. But, if you miss they're tossable on the flop. A3xx is easily worth playing if xx either is two broadways, another wheel card, or suits the ace. Hands that aren't worth playing are those like A37J (no suit to the ace) in early position. I'd limp just about any A3xx in late position if there are enough callers in front of me.

Guess I really didnt realise how loose I'd been playing till now.

Just as an experiment I have autorate on and am playing on purpose in TA-A fashion at an Omaha/8 (0.5/1) table

Everyone else is LP-P or LA-A. So far, I'm having a very good session.

ok so i downloaded the software
wow, information overload
i dont know where to start or how to work the features
what does maintain database names do?
how does one create a new database?
why would one want a second database?
what does compacting the database do?
most importantly, if i close a window in pt to do something else, will the auto update keep going (because i have to close that window to anything else)?

I hope someone can help me create the default autorate rules for Omaha too - I know the Holdem rules don't really work but that's all I had to start with. I plan to make an announcement soon on the PTO forum indicating things I am requesting experienced Omaha players to help with if they want and the default rules is a big one.

BTW, I admit I pretty much suck at Ohama, but the default rules make me a fish too and I'm not happy about that.

Just downloaded it and it looks great. I'm a semi-loose aggressive/aggressive, but I guess I already knew that. Mind you I do play a lot of shorthanded Omaha 8 so that could be some of it as well. Do you have to buy the beta, just like the holdem version of PT? Seems a little unfair that we would have to pay full price to beta test their software.

It's free during the beta stage (i.e. unlimited number of hands can be loaded).
