Yes the river play was a definite mistake, I would check and call a reasonable bet.

I've hand a few hands like this recently, where you flop a straight out of position on a dangerous looking board. I've led out on the river, then gone for a big check raise on the turn (assuming a blank hits). Most players will assume you led out with top pair no kicker, (especially if your a blind) and figure a bet will take the pot. If they check and a scare card comes then the pot is much smaller, so you have an easier decision to make on the river. Any good player will fold to the check raise on the turn with a flush draw/single pair, and if they call your getting your money in with by far the best of it.

very hard to follow the action here, but it looks like he raised the minimum on the river. the runner runner flush shouldn't really be much of a factor, so what you're really worried about is is he full? I really don't think that's too likely here. he hasn't played back at you yet, and could be raising for value with KQ. I really hate doing anything but check calling against an unknown.

although I am well aware that people are fully capable of limping with AK, a lot of times they will raise limpers with it so I don't think that's as likely, but sure it's a possibility.
