Default Baby steps

Villain is 18/4/8 after 70 hands. But I haven't played a pot with him before.

BB ($13.65)
Hero ($32.55)
MP ($23.60)
CO ($48.87)
Button ($26.65)
SB ($25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, SB (poster) raises to $2.9, 1 fold, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $6.

Flop: ($18.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Looks good, although I might bet the flop just in case he has QQ or TT and I don't wanna give him a 4th card for free.

Why check the flop? Do you think Villain is folding AK on that flop? As played i dont mind the fold on the turn, though i like pushing the flop better. You got 9/25 in preflop which means hes not making money here long run so i dont mind paying him off on the flop if he hit. Giving an additional free card on the flop and basically giving up on the hand is bad, IMO. I hope you weren't going to fold to a turn blank.

Nice laydown. Might be arguments for betting this flop, but I think it is close.

So we automatically assign villian to KK-JJ. Seems a bit weak tight. AK is more likely. At least get in there and find out.
