I'm not sure why you need to bet this, I'm pretty sure you have the best hand... unless you want a shot at folding the jack?

Bet the flop.
The way you played it, check the river, he's only going to call with anything that beats you. If he has Jx your bluff will probably work, but this isn't often enough to make the bet anything close to +EV at even money. |
