I raise the turn, UTG+2 3bets, then I check/call the river.

[ QUOTE ]
If you think you are ahead on the river, why didn't you think you were ahead on the turn and raise there?

[/ QUOTE ]

I wasnt sure if i was ahead on the turn. mp1 just called the flop bets and the raised the turn so i didnt know if it was a set or 2p or something else. if i raise then that shuts out utg+2 and either i get 3-bet and im probally losing or i just get called and the river would have been the same. i think my line had me losing the least and gaining the most(unless utg+2 called 2 bets on the turn)

heres the results for everyone interested

hero shows [ Ac, As ] a pair of aces.
utg+2 doesn't show [ Th, Kh ] a pair of tens.
mp1 doesn't show [ Tc, Qd ] a pair of tens.
hero wins $36.5 from the main pot with a pair of aces.

i would have guess you are behind by the turn...and they are checking their hand because they are scared of the 8. i would check this one through.

I would have rasied the turn as well and just kept pumping it. you have top pair and after the multi suited flop i think you just drive them out.

raising this turn is chip spewage most of the time. You capped the flop and they still bet into you on the turn.

Just call.

I'd probably just check the river also. I wouldn't want to fold to a raise.
