i don't know about this whole control key business. it works on mine just by pressing print screen. the clipboard is just the data thingy that stuff goes to when you copy it. you access it by copying and pasting stuff. when you hit print screen you're just copying your current screen to the clipboard, so you gotta paste it out of there. does it not work for you to hit print screen, go into ms paint, then just click edit | paste?

I got it. Had to get into the paint progarm and actually open a project, then left click in the project, then edit paste as a new image. Now if I can only find something to brag about....

I have problems there with bmps even though they say it's all good. Save it as a jpg.

Also, if you hold down "Alt" and hit "Print Screen" it will only capture the active window. That says time on cropping down later.
