Best Card Rooms in Europe

I'm going to be in Spain before too long and was wondering where the best card rooms are. I looked and couldn't find anything decent in Spain and I plan on doing some travelling any way. Can any one point me in a good direction? Thanks

There's the Concorde in Vienna and Gutshot and the Victoria in London. They're the biggest as far as I know. The room at Casino Barcelona is supposed to be small but pleasant. You won't find anything to compare with the big US cardrooms.

Can't really recommend any personally outside of London, in which case you should be heading towards Grosvenor Victoria or Gutshot. Bear in mind limit poker is very rare in Europe, it's mainly pot limit hold'em, with pot limit Omaha also fairly common. If you're in the UK you'll have to join 24 hours beforehand unless you know a member who will sign you in as a guest (Gutshot isn't a casino, just a card club so not required there, and no, I don't work for them!).

I guess the Aviation Club in Paris and Holland Casino in Amsterdam would be good bets, and good cities to visit.

Yeah I think I might have to do some traveling to get to a good card room. I've hear some iffy things about the casino in Barcelona. Thanks for the imput.
