9 handed, folds to button who raises, hero calls in bb with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
hero checks, button bets, hero call

Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
hero checks (should i have lead out since the board paired?)
button checks

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
should hero bet or check/call?

i should have put this in the op, but the button was a habitual bluffer and i was very surprised that he checked the turn.

well, you should've c-r the flop and lead the turn.. given the way you played it and the fact that he's a habitual bluffer you should check the river and let him bet busted diamonds.
