O Doyle-

Thanks for trying to get this together. I think the best thing is for some type of cash reward, as people are able to do what they want with cash. It is a negative for the site, because they wouldnt get the exposure from having their site advertised at the major events. They could encourage people to play more by making it a sliding scale for the reward(rakeback). Perhaps they could give a discount somehow if you use the rakeback to buy into events.

Thanks again,
Jason

Citizen's watch with Empire's logo on it. The TV is a 27 in flat screen toshiba. Both items are nice.

Personally, I loved your original idea Odoyle.

Here's why, I play consistently, but not a ton. Rakeback would be nice, but i play to make a little extra cash, and to relax.

It's a dream to play in the WSOP ME. However, I could never ever justify throwing down that kind of cash. Even if I got 10k in rakebacks, I'd never be able to play in it. So just give me the direct buy in as a reward.

Thanks luke,

I like it as well and think it will be attractive to some sites. The only reason to try to get all high volume players under one umbrella is for bargaing power and who knows a site out there might just make us an offer with options that benefits most players.

(The skin door idea is starting to make more sense on a lot of levels.)

Something to consider for the Stars rakeback idea is to have a higher bracket that gives rakeback in the form of tournament $. For people who play a lot of tourneys that would be as good as cash, and you could also have a lower rakeback % option for people who just want cash. Just a thought.

I'd like to add a thought of simply giving 90-100% rakeback on hands played after the first 15,000 in a month.

24h poker did a $100/month MAX rake, 100% Rakeback after you hit the $100 mark. Look it up in the Archives. If there site would have had any traffic it would have been awesome.

I would suggest a year-end cash bonus based on volume much like Discover Card started in the Credit Card business. I would suggest a sliding scale up to around 75% after some minimum has been met. And on the way, free rolls worth something each month (maybe WSOP entries).

This should be on top of exisiting rakeback.

Let me just say that 30% rakeback is gay.

I think 30% rakeback should be allowed to make its own lifestyle choices without us judging it too harshly.
