tagish BB. a reasonably ok player.

SB and MP3 are very loose and wildly aggressive and dumb.

Flop: (20 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, BB calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Problem is it can easily be 3bet and capped behind you, putting you at as bad as 4:1.

Not to mention that you've lost one maniac, leaving you with only 1, plus a TAG, plus somebody that you didn't give us a read on, but it looks like he's doing the same thing you are, that is, hanging around, hoping to make a hand and pick up the pieces when the maniacs flip trash, and since your hand is on the lower end of the scale for doing that, if he's good enough to be making that play, you can bet his hand is better than 9-high.

well, SB and MP3 are both maniacs. they have any two cards here, or almost any two. bb is reasonably ok. the fourth guy folded before i had to decide on the turn.

for some reason i failed to consider that i could be faced with 2 more if it gets 3-bet and capped behind me.

but they were really just bad.

the turn action went:

sb (maniac) bets, bb (tag) call, mp folds, mp3(maniac) raises. hero calls. sb maniac calls. bb tag 3-bets. mp3 maniac folds!. hero calls. sb maniac folds!.

river blank - tag bets i fold.

now if you will excuse me i'm going to go forget this hand ever happened.

edit: i messed up the action. it is even stranger now.

You've got BB as TAG, he's been here the whole hand...you don't know how the action will go behind you on the turn, I think you need to fold here. Yeah, the two "wildly aggressive, dumb players" could have junk, and they could make you pay 8 more bets to find out that BB is holding A7 of diamonds.

This is truly bizzarre. You didn't by any chance observe any other hands involving these three players, did you? It may just be that the TAG caught a good hand playing the maniacs while you caught a marginal hand, but manaics folding the turn like this to leave you HU with a TAG, it's just wierd, that's all...
