Got started on party and the beginner tables today, had a nice session, but had a few hands come up that I'd like some input on.

Opp is a standard LAG here, 77/18/2.2 Did I not push hard enough?

Hand 1 I play the same.

Hand 2 I fold this preflop. If I stayed in, I would fold to the bet and raise on the flop.

I don't like the preflop call w/ hand 2, and I don't like calling 2 cold on the flop.

Hand one looks alright.

Hand two should be folded preflop. I'd raise/fold the turn as well.

Screw it. Fold the flop in hand two.

First hand looks good, second one is a loose PF call especially unsuited, where I probably fold.

OK, I'm a beginner but my understanding is that we're supposed to
chime in with our wrong positions so that we can get straightened out/
slapped down.

In Hand One.....BB check-raises the flop....isn't that kind of indicating more
than top pair? So maybe check/call the turn? Is this why I'm
weak-tight?

You are very much right, against typical opponents. Against LAGs however, they like to check-raise anything.
