my guess is you might've just had a bad batch. Boddingtons and Tetley's are my favorite english beers. Boddingtons can be summed up in one word: smooth. It just goes down so smooth and has very little aftertaste. It isn't very bitter. It is a light malt, and you want to let the foam settle before you frink it

I haven't ever had fat tire, but I do love Magic Hat. #9 specifically, but fat angel is pretty good too

What a travesty, page four and no mention of the dog. For me the answer is easily Newcastle Brown Ale.

10 years ago you'd be right. However it's taken a drastic downturn in quality as they've expanded production.

Fat Tire is the nectar of the Gods. And it is not even close.

Fat Tire is good. Most serious beer snobs would say it's not nearly the best beer made by New Belgium. I suggest you try some of their other beers.

Word. Sunshine wheat is the nectar of the gods.

Other great beers of note:

Bridgeport ROpewalk amber
New Belgium Loft
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Rogue Hazelnut Nectar
Guinness

I'm really enjoying Smuttynose IPA lately. Top quality.

Others standbys are Dogfish 90 minute IPA, Stone IPA, and Duvel.

Don't you have this one in the States? Hoisting a few of these right now, very good lager.
