Default It\'s been a while...

Since I've slowplayed a set AND since I've posted anything strategic and not about the HU tourney.
So, here is the momentous occasion...villain is 30/14 over 80 PT-tracked hands but I've played with him before and these numbers seem about right.

He probably thinks i'm slightly loose and pretty aggressive but not ultraagressive. the flat call sure looks like a set. and so does a 3-bet. i think concealing my hand is quite difficult either way

K sucks on the river, your only beating AA/QQ/KJ, not sure what he reraises with on the flop, but JJ is still possible.

I prob. just call, as AA/QQ/KJ I don't think are calling reraises on the river with your flop cold call.

Hmm. AA and KJ are the only hands I see conceivably betting then calling your river push that you beat. And JJ and KK beat you. So I guess it depends on your read of the player (i.e. how tight/aware he is). Since I think a solid player would fold AA on the river, then only 1 hand calls you and two hands beat you (maybe three if he raised with a low pocket pair and caught mid-set). So I'd just call - if a non A K or Q river came I would push his bet. But what do I know, I would have bet the turn!

I don't like the check on the turn. The way you played it seems to make it easy for villain to get away from a worse hand on the end, and he gets a free chance to catch up (unless he's drawing dead).

That looks really weird. I guess you're representing 53 with the flop/turn combo, but I don't know what's going on with the river. Is he bad enough to call your push with AK? I suppose the raise is small enough (900 more I believe?) that he'd call with AK/AA/JT/KJ, but I still think this is a weird line.
