Default Nothing but pushing- HU FT MTT

Yesterday, after Christmas dinner at my parent's house I came home and decided I was going to play for a bit.

I made it heads up in a 5 dollar freezeout out of 1600 people. The difference between first and and second was 600 dollars. The player made it clear he didn't want to make a deal as well.

My stats on this guy look decent but once we got short handed he went bonkers. I'm sure, despite his stats that he doesn't have much of a clue what he's doing.

Here's the question:

Is it wrong to push every good hand heads up (you're the Shortstack) when you know it's likely he'll call with an inferior hand?

Any/all comments welcome

If you know will often call with a worse hand then push. If he's a maniac you are going to have to play back at him some time.

If you're pushing every hand how do you know he has an inferior hand?

What are the blinds?

Jeannie, you gotta work on your questions. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay to vague.

Ick sorry

Blinds are about capped, maybe one away. I have about 600k to his 1.6.

I know because he's doubled me up before calling with things like Q4suited, K7os etc.

Its a pretty simple question, and if you want to post useful questions you should post useful information. Say what you want about my, uh.. antics, but this thread is better with the added information.

Obviously. I'm being constructive, I'm not saying "you suck." I'm saying "make this thread better."

He is HU with you, so i suggest he does know what he is foing. He sounds very aggressive HU, and his "junk call" are with face cards. Some people are proponents of pushing with any face card. I saw Cloutier push seven times straight as shortstack 4 handed before started to backoff.

Pick your spots, fold the smallblind, and then push with face card, pairs, Ace, etc. If you can't figure him at this point, set your own tone and play your game. You still did exceptionally well. Congrats!
