alright. Hand converter is down, reconstructing.

Hero is button with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

relevant Stack sizes:
Hero - 73
UTG 50 - donkey
CO 120 - Tight (18/5)

Multiple limpers preflop, hero limps.

Flop ($4) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

sb checks, bb checks, UTG bets $1, MP calls $1, CO calls $1, Hero raises $4. SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, MP calls, CO Calls.

Turn ($30)J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, MP checks, CO bets $10, Hero calls $10, UTG calls $10, MP folds.

River ($60) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG checks, CO checks, Hero ?

Obviously a dream flop..I was happy if no other spades fell but I felt I had the best hand and best draw. I didn't want to push everyone out on the flop but i wanted to pump it up a bit.

When the spade hit and I got bet into by the only semi-tight player in the pot, I was uneasy. The price was so good that I decided I couldn't fold so I called. When it was checked to me on the river I really wasn't sure what to do, and a checkraise would make me puke so I checked behind. Thoughts?

Wow, I'm not a fan of this at all. At least make a value bet. Checking behind here is -EV for sure.

The 1/3 PSB on the turn + the check on the river makes me think that villain has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and is trying to price himself into his draw...which everyone obligingly let him do.

I bet about 1/2 the pot on the river.

I like a turn raise. He might be trying to draw to an A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] cheaply .
