ZoneAlarm Firewall and PP/Eurobet chat

Hi all,

Bit of a techie question, hope someone can help.

I have ZoneAlarm firewall on my PC and have a PartyPoker and Eurobet account.

PP and Eurobet work fine with the firewall enabled except that the chat function doesn't work. Nothing I type in the chat box actually appears in the table dialog.

If I disable ZoneAlarm then the chat works as expected.

I have contacted PP, Eurobet and ZoneAlarm but have not received any response other than to disable the firewall when playing Poker which I would rather not do.

Have any of you guys experienced the same problem?

The first time ZA sees Eurobet, it asks to be allowed to monitor keyboard and mouse movements. If you say no, the problem that you describe occurs.

I said no, I like to chat but I can live without it, I'd much rather not let any program monitor my keyboard and mouse movements for fear of the consequences.

Yes, I posted about this a couple weeks ago.

What I also found was that if you want to cash out or view your raked hands played, you need to re-enable the "monitor keyboard and mouse movements".

You can adjust the zonealarm setting to do this. I wouldn't play with zonealarm disabled.

No kidding. Last time I did that, 5 min later I was reformating my HD.
