Default Re: My second shot at 10/20... bad run of cards or not good enough?

So I'd post the graph but I'm too lazy. I'm also relatively new to 10/20. I've played 40k hands at 10/20 with a good winrate(2+). During that time I have 2 250BB downswings that happened very quickly as well as 2 12-13K+ hand breakeven streaks. I'm winning at .44 BB/100 over my last 10k hands.

Stop worrying and play some more.

This is really bad advice.

Aggression should be no less than 2.0 all streets.

Class players such as Nikla, Nate, Vehn all had river agrression over 2.0.

Its one of the factors that set the class players apart from the average.

You are a funny guy. Apart from that I doubt very much that someone who sees as many showdowns as Nate has a river aggression above 2. You are welcome to post a link about it if you have it though.

I disagree with your statement but there is no reason to sound like an ass and get all defensive about this, dude.

Saying the aggression factor for any street should be a certain number is just plain ignorant. Your aggression factor is a byproduct of you style of play, not an end-all in itself. The looser you play the lower your aggession factor will typically be on all streets and vice versa (the reasons should be clear). It's not right, it's not wrong, it's just a differnt way of playing (speaking generally, not about OP). Saying any PT number should be higher or lower without giving the reason behind (and in the context of the persons play) is just dumb. I'm sorry for being blunt but you really have no clue what you're talking about...

OK, I see where you are coming from
I thought the statement about river aggression was a bit brash and contrary to the stats of almost every winning player on these boards that I've seen (Schneids being one exception) but I think I could work on my wording

But how about we drop this discussion. Much more meaningful to post and discuss individual hands anyway.

Yeah peace.

i have ~70K shorthanded hands with river aggression of around 1.6-1.7 and a very solid winrate. I think style matters.

PS T-REX are you T-REX on absolute?
