Default Moving abroad to avoid taxes - what are my options?

I live in Holland and while the situation is a bit unclear right now, it appears that I'll have to pay a lot of taxes on my winnings this year.

So I'm considering a move. I have many reasons to stay, but being young and relatively unattached, none of those are worth 30 to 40 grand to me.

Has anyone done this?

Try here.

Also try a search for past threads. It comes up regularly in other forums.

Wait, are you originally from Holland, or a US citizen currently living in Holland? If it's the former, I'd be really surprised if anyone on this forum had the kind of knowledge of your tax code to answer this question. The best option is always to pony up the $350 or whatever and go see a CPA, or whatever the equivalent is in your country.
