Default Would like a formula for MGR

I know this isn't exactly probability, but I know a lot of you are pretty good with math. I always see the rake calculators and I'm wondering what the formula they use is.

What I would like is a formula where you can plug certain numbers and get an MGR estimate. I imagine the formula would involve the number of hands you play per month, the average rake given the limit you play at (or more likely just the size of a big bet), and the average number of players at the table. Maybe also something addressing the percentage of hands played that are raked or anything else I'm not thinking of.

I know the average number of hands I play per month but I'm interested in knowing how one estimates some of the other factors (what % of hands are raked, what is an average amount of rake).

Not that it matters to the forumla, but the reason I'm interested in this is to make sure I have a positive MGR at the end of the month for certain sites (e.g. Party), and am reducing my chances of having my account red-flagged or closed.

Thank for your help. I tried a search but couldn't find anything.

I'm not sure how precise you want to get.

You need to know the total amount you win over the period and the average actual rake percentage.

You probably know how much you bet and win and the stated rake percentage. All you need is to adjust that for a cap.
