Recommend a desk
I just moved into a studio apartment and ironically now have room for a larger desk. I'm looking for something cheap but big enough to hold 2 19" CRT monitors and still have a little bit of surface area to leave crap on.
I've checked out IKEA's site and like some of their stuff but am looking for other suggestions. I'd prefer to order online because I am a lazy bastard. |

Re: Recommend a desk
Order a couple Dell 2001FPs while you're at it and get 75% of your desk back.

i'm a big fan of the systema wall street desk, very simple and it runs around $300 with stainless steel legs. kinda hard to find though.

Re: Recommend a desk
6 ft folding table that resembles what a typical wrestler will get thrown through on a Monday night. One with real wood of course. $40.00

They often go on sale at Staples and similar stores. I've got 2 2001FPs, my amateur radio stuff, and plenty of space left. |

6 ft folding table [/ QUOTE ] Those are great and all, and I've used them exclusively for years, but really, once you get a "real" desk there's no going back. I recently spent $200 at Staples for a beautiful wooden desk that's about the same surface area and it even has drawers! It is smooooooooth. Bob |
