What is wrong with the Chargers?

The Chargers have a lot of talent, LT, Gates, Breese, their run defense. So why arent they going to the playoffs?

Of the games that they lost some say it was bad luck, but some of the games shouldnt have been so close in the first place considering the talent the Chargers have, specially the Dolphins one recently.

So is it because Marty sucks or whats the problem with the Chargers?
