Default Home Game/ Middle set

hey, this occured tonight, just wondering if I could have played it any differently and if so, what?
Home Game 1/2nl but played more like 5/5nl at the end of the night. Hero has about $1000 about beginning of hand while drunk villian has roughly $2000.

Hero is dealt 9c9d. Late position raises to 15(standard), Villain calls, as does Hero. 3 to the flop.

Flop: 9h Qh 4s
Hero checks, late position checks, Villian bets 30. As he bets he goes on to say that he has a set (he's drunk, hes been rambling out random bullshit, plays reallly loose).
Hero calls 30, late pos folds.

Turn: 6s
Hero checks again, Villian bets 100 and says "I'm gunna make a believer out of you that I have a set"...
Hero thinks for a little while and reraises to 400... Villian immediately goes allin for 1500. He has me covered?
Call???

Results to come.

odds of him having top/bottom set is the same + % of time he is bsing you so you make money making calls like this.

bad beat posts do suck tho. it sounds like you are playing way over your head if you can't feel comfortable getting stack in with mid set on that board. move down.

no, i play online 5/10nl so im used to it. Im just wondering if the fact that he is drunk makes it any diff of a decision on the call. ill get my money 10/10 times with middle set unless im positive that have top

Has he been passive preflop before with Queens? I don't see a fold here...especially since you now have half your stack in there already.
