Default Is this raise kosher? Am I just nuts?

This is on Empire. I thought that the policy on party & skins was that, in the event of an all-in raise that isn't at least the size of the BB, a player who has already acted cannot repop it. Now, has this policy been changed? Or have I just been completely nuts for 10k tourneys?

Level:5
Blinds(100/200)
aaron8106 folds.
big37guy calls [200].
EdMontana folds.
jimmy2xs folds.
maximus67ae calls [200].
ElsieBoo is all-In [265]
s_powell folds.
KultasHome calls [65].
big37guy calls [65].
maximus67ae is all-In [445]
KultasHome folds.
big37guy calls [380].

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I had no luck with the search button, and their website doesn't (as far as I could tell) touch upon this subject. I feel a little bit silly for asking this kind of question, but if this is a legal move I've missed quite a few opportunities with big hands...

Thanks,
Remus

Weird. I may be nuts as well, but I thought that kind or reraise was illegal. I could be wrong.

What did empire say?

It might be that the rule only applies for re-raises whereas in this case the all-in was an initial raise, but I was under the impression that someone who had already called would not be allowed to reraise in this pot. weird.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. I haven't emailed empire yet, but will if somebody doesn't respond with some weird circumstance where this is legal. I ended up winning the tournament anyway, so I have no reason to put up any kind of stink, I just want to make sure that I understand their raise policy completely.

I'm almost hoping they changed it. I'd think it would be (very) slightly beneficial to good players.

I don't see how they allow that -- even in limit poker, it has to be at least half to count as a full bet.

BTW, is your avatar the ELP Tarkus cover? If so, I haven't seen that in ages...

You bet it is!

One of my favorite albums, and a damn cool cover too. If you ever see someone wearing a hat with the tarkus on it, that's me (unless someone else gets one made...)

Just had it (kinda) happen again. 100/200, BB had ~250, 200 of which was posted. UTG called, I completed in the SB, and BB pushed his remaining 50 in. UTG called, and, while I only called as well, I had the option to reraise. Looks like there's either a bug or the policy was changed. Hopefully it's the latter.
