Is he really that colorful? ESPN can't find anyone out of 350+ players to put instead. What a jopke.

I'm presuming it's more to get one of the chip-leaders (Phan) at this point, and Phan's table may be better for TV (Farha and Meehan) than whoever's at Pardey's table.

Looking for the most recent chip update. When was their dinner break and was there an official chip count taken at that time? Pokerpages still has their chips at the beginning of play today, and cardplayer is a few hours behind.

You won't get an official chip count during the day. But, CardPlayer seems to update them a few times a day.

Sammy Farha Eliminated in an Estimated 316th Place ($21,070)

With the board showing 5-4-4-3 on the turn, Sammy Farha is all in against John Falconeer at ESPN's Featured Table. Farha shows pocket sevens (an overpair and a gut-shot straight draw), but Falconeer has pocket fives (full house). Farha's straight draw is dead, and he now needs to catch one of the last two sevens in the deck to stay alive. The river card is an 8, and Sammy Farha is eliminated from the Championship Event.

Farha finished in approximately 316th place. He will receive $21,070 for his efforts.

Yeah they only post the notables. I got a buddy of mine who I think is still in. Adam Brosius. Started today with about 89,000 and so far, according to Cardplayer he hasn't busted yet as of 350th place. Anyone have anybody there who could find out?

just got back to the Rio (registering for the $1000 event tomorrow) and watched this hand where farha busted. the guy limped UTG, farha raises, he called, flop was 5 4 4.

guy check/called a large bet from Farha, check/called Farha's all in. not much he could do.
