so life is good; why do you like the iggles so much against falcs (in nfl); i am beginning to think that game is an iced, cold frozen, mortaled sobered ,brazillo nutz over , over: my reasoning being that philly is not the super def they were two-three years ago, and, with a healthy vick at home the falcs should light the board up a tad...

Scalf, in all seriousness, I've been an Iggle fan for almost 3 decades now, and this is probably the 2nd best D I have ever seen, since they finished 1-1-1 in Total Defense in 1991. They are BETTER than last year, Brown and Lewis and Sheppard all have a full year starting under their belt, Thomas and Kearse are healthy, DE is improved, Patterson looks to be a stud, loss of Simon irrelevant - he did not play well last year. I love this game at EVEN MONEY!

O/U too hard to say, Falcs D alright but Eagles O and a few turnovers could lite it up plus special teams on both sides excellent.

before i read your note above (t.y.v.m.) ; i changed my pick on several season-long contests; which usually i do not do;
and for 2 reasons: 1. many top-notch; not just blo-hard, cappers do not like the falcons and feel the tension by the world's gr8est receiver was way overblown; and quite frankly: can atl play with the top teams....

2. atl had a mediocre season last year; not likely to do much better; but i think the underlying thinking (hoping) is that vick can pull it all out with top playze: i have found that , over the years, when the better def's have time to prepare; a top player gets shut down; and that team loses big..

hey; might be a bustout bet on mighty philly..
