Re: I got a Palm Tungsten-e2 for $100.... what can I do with it? (OT)
The fact you linked me to free software implies I'm going to find some way to spend hundreds more on stupid software I'll never need than I did on the Palm itself.
This isn't gonna be pretty. |

Re: I got a Palm Tungsten-e2 for $100.... what can I do with it? (OT)
I have a couple of programs on my palm, poker log, and poker tracker (no relation to pat's software I believe) that track my live play. I've seen some other stuff on line like chip counter that keeps track of average stack sizes during a live tournament so you know where you are at.
I keep hoping that someone will write something that lets you quickly put in live hand history so that you can track those like you do online. I may have to try and hack it myself when I have time. It really is great as an address book and organizer because you can synch it up with your computer, you never lose your information. All my info has survived numerous hard drive crashes and Palm hard boots because it is on both places, unlike a regular address book which takes all the data with it. Shauna |

Those sound useful, I'll check them out.
Also, I email/contact with Mozilla based products, I think I'm SOL as far as synching that goes without switching to Outlook huh? |

I'm not sure how the palm stuff plays with Mozilla; I use outlook on the PC and Entourage on the Mac (I still use OS 9 a lot).
If nothing else, install the Palm desktop - their own app - to at least have something to synch to. Even if it won't keep your contacts in synch with Mozilla, at least all your databases and other programs will be backed up. Shauna |
