Default PP sidebets - scammable?

A hypothetical situation. Let's say 10 players were to communicate via instant messenger and if everybody hole cards were known, does the PP sidebet game become +EV?

Scammable? No, because of the reasons already stated. You have to place the bet ahead of time.

However, if they did allow you to bet after the cards were dealt, it wouldn't take much at all to beat this. If my math is correct you'd only need to know that you had 1 or more cards of a color in your favor left in deck.

20 cards known. 32 hidden. Assume that there are 17 red and 15 black left in the deck, so obviously you bet red.

17/32 * 16/31 * 15/30 = .137

EV = (7)(.137) - (1)(.883) = +0.076
