Aol connection problems
I hope this is the right forum for this.
I have a problem with AOL where it will kick me off in the middle of playing poker. I have tryed talking to aol but of course they can't help. They just give me a bunch of bs. I have read from both aol and posts on these forums that low memory can interrupt your connection which makes sence because I'm on a old computer. The only weird thing about that is sometimes me and my bro both get kicked off at the same time on different computers. I obviously cant continue playing with this any help would be greatly appreciated |

Re: Aol connection problems
if you are cable, AOL is not needed.
just open the paradise client. you are already on. if you are cable, then what do you mean? you are saying that whenever the AOL connection is lost, the poker connection is lost? that's got to be a firewall issue because with cable you should be able to open poker client without signing on to AOL. |

Re: Aol connection problems
I have cable and I know what your talking about. However I still need to connect to AOL to get online. I am not online unless I connect to AOL.

Re: Aol connection problems
[ QUOTE ]
I dont know what a ie window is [/ QUOTE ] sorry. i.e. = internet explorer go to your start menu and open ie without AOL running at all. if you get a page error, then i'm not sure what else to suggest. if however you get a webpage, then this means your internet connection is established and you should be able to run any poker room. finally, call aol tech and ask them why you are not always on with cable. you should not have to log in to aol (i don't have aol running now, just an i.e. window). i'm sure aol support will get you to uncheck some box somewhere that will solve your problem.
