Re: need help with laptop and overlapping
Laptops have fixed maximum resolution constrained by the hardware. Regular computer monitors are can generally have a theoretically infinitely high resolution.
Your laptop is proably 1024 x 768, maybe a little higher. Online poker tables are usually 800 x 600. So if you are 1024 x 768, you are SOL. If you buy a new laptop consider the highest wide screen resolution models. I have a one year old widescreen 1680 x 1050, which allows me 4 tables with no side to side overlap, and minimal up/down overlap. The advisability of playing 4 tables, or 3 or even 2, is a completely different subject. |

Re: need help with laptop and overlapping
I have a Dell Inspirion 5100 too. Your only solution is to buy an external monitor. I bought a 2001fp about a month ago and I love it. After 6 months of playing 4 table with overlap, I'll never go back.
