Yeah, that all went through my mind. I couldn't do the math quick enough here to figure if the push would be +EV. I figured I was likely against a set and an overpair, but it was just top pair and an over pair. Ugh...

You're getting about 5:1 with a gutshot and a flush draw, but both draws are vulnerable, so I like the overbet/push idea here.
