When you click on "edit this user" the page you are brought to has a "member rating." This seems to be a number of stars. WHat does this reflect and how does one vote on or assign a member rating?

A lot of other forums have these as tools where the users can rate other posters. I don't think on this one the rating displays anywhere but in that one screen.

I think this could be a nice tool if used well by the users, because knowing that a poster is well perceived helps the new kid sort out who is full of crap and who isn't.

I just don't trust the users, especially if OOT was involved in being able to rate people (and I don't see an obvious way to stop that).

Right, I agree with that. However, where did these initial ratings come from? I see that Al Capone has 2 stars and Kurn Son of Thoufi has 4 stars. Just wondering how that came to be.
