Default Help: Posting Guidllines & FAQ

What do you think should be included in a Posting Guidelines & FAQ for this forum?

Serious responses only, please.

Would it be worthwhile to try and set up some type of prefix standard, i.e.: in the sng forum, we start posts with the level that the post concerns.

I'll think more on it, but this was the first thing that popped into my head.

Seems like very often we have posts that ought to be and often are moved to the news, views, gossip forum. Perhaps we should include a that this forum isn't for "news, views, and gossip" and post a link to that forum.

Oh, and a reminder to make sure there isn't a thread on the big donkey move that was just on whatever given poker show is on at the time before a person starts up one.

What does this forum think about actually discussing the strategy for a given play?

Should that be moved to MTT strategy?

Dynasty, three years in Vegas might be the best post I've read here.

1. Yes we know Norman Chad/VVP/Sexton/Konik/_____ are awesome/the worst announcer ever, please don't start new threads about it.

2. ____________ Probably isn't the worst player ever, and discussion of their donkish donkery doesn't need its own thread, please discuss it in its related tournament thread.

That alone would reduce the clutter in this forum by 33%

Nothing. This forum is close to perfect as is. An unread FAQ at the top would just push it over the edge from perfect to kind of cluttered up.
