Most liberals are very proud Air America is failing.

Can I choose option 3 - None of the Above? It's certainly not taking the country by storm, but I'm not sure it's fair to say that it's failing.

Grey, you are one of my favorite posters, but you seriously have to give up the 'No one listens to Air America' and 'Air America is failing' shtick. I've been listen only for a few months and have seen it grown by a seventh. It most definitely IS growing, and most definitely is not failing. I love you.

You ran away again?

Do you ever not cut and run when someone responds to your drivel?

[/ QUOTE ]You're right; it's not failing. It also isn't nearly as successful as right-wing radio though, and never will be.

[ QUOTE ]
If you dismiss global warming as a possible contributor to stronger hurricanes then you are blind. It's akin to still believing the world was flat in the 18th century. Bush's hostility toward the notion (still, 6 year later saying "more research needs to be done" before any conclusions can be made about global warming is very dishonest.)

[/ QUOTE ]

If you entertain even for a moment the notion that the failure to institute Kyoto caused stronger hurricanes, than you're really stupid. I'm not dismissing the impact of increased temperature on hurricanes, but it's certainly not a proven link. Add to that the fact that the impact of nonnatural carbon emissions on surface temperatures is not ironclad, and you've got a pretty tenuous link.

Dismissing this is not in any way similar to saying the earth was flat in the 18th century...

You never know. Twenty-five years ago people probably wouldn't have entertained the thought of a successful right-wing television channel (or 15 years ago for that matter). In the early 90's people probably thought "there will never be another Bush in office."
