Default River

No real reads on the villian, as he sat down only about 5 hands ago, but he hasn't done anything out of line yet. I know what I did on the river (obviously) and why, but I would like some outside thoughts on this one. Thanks

Was it between bet/fold and check/call? I like the first line.

Although it seems tough for a worse hand to call, they will.

If you had a read telling you your opponents wasn't typical you might play it differently, but without it I'd bet.

Plus if he raises it's the easiest fold ever since the river card brought in every draw known to man.

Interesting hand. That's just about the worst river card you could see. So I'm torn between bet+fold or check+call.

I think I like check+call better. It may induce a bluff from someone chasing the idiot end of the straight, or the donk who calls down with something like K9. Plus it loses the least to someone who caught his straight or flush (or turned A).

That river is sick.

The 8 made his gutshot, fd filled. A passive A beats you.

I c/c. I'm value betting the river a lot, but not here.

It didn't make a gutshot. It completed an OESD>

I like bet-folding here.
