Default On the river one more time

So, going along with my last hand, I'm reviewing my river play as I get back into practice. Does anyone want to bet this? Villian seems somewhat loose, will call down too much, but will bet aggressively on a good hand (typical party player). Thanks in advance

22,44-66 as well as an 8 seem likely. An 8 is raising if you bet and betting if you check, and 22,44-66 won't call a bet but might bluff at you if you check. 99-TT are both *most likely* betting if you check and calling if you bet, but they might take the free showdown which would suck.

You also might be able to induce a bluff from a flopped OESD or GS+2Overs.

I think check-call is the correct play.

I check/call because I'd piss myself if he raised me.

Note the board is double paired. They won't call a bet.

Ah, you're right. I was mistaken. My fault.

I would check/call also, that 8 on the river worries me; I don't see him holding a 7 as he likely would have capped flop and/or raised turn.

This is also a good hand to see if he'll raise with overcards on a coordinated flop.

Does villian raise his draws? That would help here. Being he is loose, he could have a wide range of hands from connectors, to pp, to A8s. I think I am check calling here afraid of the A8, 89 hands. I know, I have monsters under my bed!

If he had a 7 he would wait till the turn to pop you...

I check this river and call one.
