River action, yay or nay?
Been at the table with villain for about 2 orbits. So far typical loose passive donk. Aggro stats show fairly passive, but significantly more aggro on the river. As far as I remember though, I don't remember him showing down a bluff with his river aggression.
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG calls. Flop: (5 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG calls. Turn: (3.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG calls. River: (5.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero... Lots of 2 pair hands here that I could beat from a donkish limper: 9T, QT, Q9 seem like possibilities. Possible straights are JK and 8J though both of them are runner runners. The only sets that seem reasonable are 55 and maybe 99/TT, but even these seem like legit raising hands 4handed from a pseudo passive player. 3-bet or call? |

Re: River action, yay or nay?
my first instinct was just to call, but upon looking at it again I think Q9 is by far the most likely hand.
I think you have a 3 bet, but if you get capped you should seriously consider folding. |
