Empire State Tourney at Turning Stone
Anybody know anything about this?
Will they cap the seating? How many tables does turning stone have? I've never seen the room. August 12-15th Main Event according to the site is $300 + 30 |

Re: Empire State Tourney at Turning Stone
Can you link me to that information? All I see on the Turning Stone website is a popup that says there are weekly $60 (w/addon) satellites on sundays, and the main event is a $540 buy in. I would love to see a list of side events.

Re: Empire State Tourney at Turning Stone
*bump*
Anyone still in? I'm going to be at the $200+$25 on Friday the 13th. =) There are some details on CardPlayer's site (link below). http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_tour...il.php?t_id=51 I spoke to someone on the phone who suggested that they were capping entries to all of the events at 250, and that they pay top 10% of the field. I asked about starting chip counts and blind structure, but he didn't know. (I'll ask again later.) -DB |

Re: Empire State Tourney at Turning Stone
Turning Stone is my "home" cardroom and I really enjoy it. Not as big as Foxwoods, but considerably more comfortable, in my opinion, and generally shorter waits. There are fewer game choices, but hold 'em at limits up to 20-40 usually, a couple of no limit games (1-2 and 5-10 blinds), two stud games (1-5 and 5-10, maybe 10-20) and the ever-present 2-10 Stud/8 game with the same group of regulars.
