Default 10/20 or 20/40 FL at Foxwoods

How is this game, generally?

I have little live experience - never higher than 4/8. I don't usually play much higher than this online, but will live if the game is good.

Was wondering what people opinions were of 10/20 or 20/40 at Foxwoods.

tyia.

10/20 is g00t, particularly around college vacation times.

20/40 is from a different planet than 10/20...most of the
time you will get hacked by Rocks and 2+2ers like Barry
and Rory!

The 5/10 Full Kill are the people who "graduated" from 4/8
but are scared of 10/20; this is clearly the game to play.

And judging by the quality of play many of them graduated far too early.

Although I haven't played much 10/20 recently, that game was almost always good.

Most of the time the 20 game is very good too. However, there are times when it is not. The weekends are almost always good at every table.

I guess the question revolves around your $$ comfort level. If you don't mind bringing $2-3K with you, buying in for $1K with a chance of reloading after a few suckouts then you might be able to give it a shot.

However, I would recommend that you give the 4/8 or 5/10 w/ kill a go first to see how you think your game matches up with the competition. If you feel comfy, move up.

The 5/10 w/ kill game is way soft. I really think the average player there is worse than the average 2/4 player online (disclamer: I only play on Saturdays.) You will get 5-6 players who see 60% of the flops and cold-call with marginal hands. They will pay you off all the time. The added bonus is that when the kill is in effect, you are playing 10/20 with players who are, by definition, not comfortable enough to play 10/20. It is great. When I build up a bigger bankroll, I will try out the real 10/20 game, becuase I hear it's almost as juicy. But I am interested in hearing other opinions.

one tip on this game

if the median age is up around 60 it's going to be a rock fest. there are a ton of 5/10 tables so just get a table change and you're all good.

this is only about 1/20 shot but I'm just saying... don't waste your time at a bad table and once in a while they are.
