Default I think I played this wrong. Comments please

UTG is loose but tighter than most at the table. He is very passive and usually does not donkbet.

PokerStars Hold'em Limit ($0.05/$0.10) (9 handed)
Hero is dealt [As Ks] in MP1
UTG calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises, MP2,MP3,Button,SB,BB&UTG call
FLOP [14 SB] [7d 2h Kd], 2 checks, UTG bets, HERO raises, 4 folds, UTG calls
TURN [9 BB] [7d 2h Kd] [7h]
Villain bets (after very long pause), HERO call or raise?

Raise. I doubt at .05/.10 he's crafty enough, but I occasionally use a scare card like a board pair to bet into a player where I checked to him on the previous round (semi-bluff assuming I have a drawing hand like 2 hearts in this case) Good players see right through it and often fire right back.

Raise to see where he stands. He could be pushing anything from 2 hearts to a deuce to a weaker king.

Preflop: Good

Flop: Call. A raise will not protect your hand. You are giving your opponents 16:2 odds on a call and therefore it would be correct for them to call with a 7 or 2. See SSH p. 163-5 for another example and further explaination.

Turn: Raise. Call down if villian 3bets.

I don't quite understand this last comment. Raising here does get rid of
backdoor draws but more importantly since Hero is probably ahead here
couldn't this also be viewed as a value raise?

Yes, it would be a value raise but SSH is saying that it's more profitable to wait for the turn.
