Default Foxwoods 12/26 - Worst MTT beat of my life.

Went to Foxwoods $60 yesterday (12/26). Took 14th out of 285. Down to 18, this is the hand I lost most of my chips.

800/1600 300 ante, 2 tables left

I'm in BB, Button (13000) raises 5000 to 6600
I (22000) look down at JJ, I think about just putting him all in but ultimately just call, intending to put him in with most any flop.

Flop: J 9 x

I do an 'all-in' wave of my hands, he calls immediately and flips over 99. I flip over JJ and he craps himself, right there on the floor.

Turn: Blank

He stands up, says "Nice hand, man..." and puts out his hand as I stoicly sit there, looking at the spot where the river card is going to be, thinking "No, this will be a nice hand in a few seconds when this any-card-but-a-case-9 hits that felt."

River: You know the f*cking river.

I slink off to 14th place.......ah well.

Man, was that place a ZOO yesterday.
