Default 3/6, made a play, didn\'t work

I thought it was a good play. The rest of the table disagreed. Not that I care so much what they think but I s'pose I do care a bit what you all think:
I'm sorry, I can't find a hand converter for Full Tilt.

shakabraddah calls $3
BeakerBoy raises to $6
arf-arf calls $6
sirjike calls $4.50
kevman24 calls $3
shakabraddah calls $3
*** FLOP *** [3c Jc 8h]

BeakerBoy has 15 seconds left to act
BeakerBoy raises to $9
arf-arf calls $6
kevman24 calls $6
shakabraddah raises to $12
BeakerBoy calls $3
arf-arf calls $3
kevman24 calls $3

*** RIVER *** [3c Jc 8h 8d] [6s]

How do you think I played it? Results to come later.

I call the flop 3-bet. I just don't see capping here with middle pair.

I think I play the rest the same. shakabraddah has something he likes, and after your aggression on the flop he probably expects you to bet, possibly to C/R.

Did he miss his flush draw?

*grunch*

Looks good except for flop reraise. You're just opening yourself to a cap. I'd call instead and play it the same way. With that many opponents, I'd be surprised if your hand was good. It is odd that shakabraddah checked down turn and river though....maybe the 8 scared him?

You're right. My hand wasn't good. And when I raised I knew my hand wasn't good either!

But the limp reraise on that flop shows a flush draw to me. Maybe t-9 but either way a jack doesn't make that play.
So I reraised hoping to get any jack having to call two cold to fold.

Both players called though. Damn sometimes I hate low limit. Now when he caps I've got to call.

When the 8 hit on the turn I knew that I'm all but guaranteed to be losing this hand right now. So I checked.

And that was the end. The limp reraiser had what I thought: flush draw. Another flush draw was out too. A pair of jacks took the hand down.

And three people at the table were questioning my sanity at overplaying a pair of nines. What can I say? I told them I was just a noob and didn't know any better.

I would call the flop raise and bet a non-club / non-high card turn. Seems like a WB or marginally ahead situation, where the turn could drastically change our hand value. Would be happier here if we held the 9 of clubs.

After capping the flop and then checking the turn shakabraddah seems like he is on a flush draw (probably also with a gut-shot or overs). I don't know about the others, but I would guess they are on overs or draws after checking the turn.

Guess you took down the pot and they were pissed?

Nope. As I said above I raised to get the jacks out of the hand. They didn't fold to calling two more cold and I gave up on the hand.

Here's the thing: If I put the limp-re raiser on a club draw then I think calling here has to be terrible. I can't wait until the turn, I need to isolate him now. Does anyone disagree with this?
