Welcome back to 5/10, a few hands
Back to 5/10 after 5 or so months on Pacific. Getting back into 5/10 but been getting railed. How are my lines?
Hand #1 Villian is pretty loose PF (VPIP 50 over 75 hands), halfway decent postflop from what I've seen. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, Hero raises, 4 folds, UTG calls. Flop: (5.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls. Turn: (4.70 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG checks, Hero checks. River: (4.70 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 6.70 BB Hand #2 MP is 45/9 over 110 hands, CO is 18/13 over 120 hands. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls. Flop: (10 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) Hero bets, BB calls, MP calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, MP calls, CO caps, Hero calls, MP calls. Turn: (11.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP checks, CO checks. River: (11.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP checks, CO bets, Hero calls, MP calls. Final Pot: 14.50 BB Hand #3 UTG is a complete nut and would L/RR with any two cards. Very very aggro postflop as well. Final Pot: 18.10 BB Toss in a raise anywhere? Hand #4 Villian is 23/5 over 50 hands and seems to be decent. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero calls. Final Pot: 10.70 BB I like this line in situations like this, but not sure what to do when faced with a raise, is this a river fold? Thanks for your replies. |

Re: Welcome back to 5/10, a few hands
Hand 1:
His stats don't help much. A read about his donking tendencies would be better. I think if you want to showdown, bet the turn and check behind the river. Hand 2: Lead the turn. If you get raised again I think you can check-fold the river unimproved. Hand 3: Raise the turn. Depending on Button I'd cap the flop too. Hand 4: Looks good until the river call. I'd fold to the raise. I think I might've check called the river, though. |
