Default Optimum table VP$IP

What are good table VP$IP that you look for currently I'm trying to get nothing less than 30% at Party 2/4. Lately, I've begun to leave when the VP$IP drops below 25%. Lately this has been the KEY factor in my table selction. ANy other thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,
SWE

I like to follow the fish that you fill your buddy-list with

Leave when the table becomes full of table-rocks and regulars.

Where are you getting this average VPIP figure? From a Poker Tracker game time window, right? This may be obvious to you, but one thing that can happen with that method is that if you've got one tight aggressive regular at the table, on whom you've got 1000 hands, and a bunch of new players on whom you have almost no hands, the listed VPIP figure is weighted by the number of hands you have on each player. You'll find that the tight aggressive player with a lot of hands in the database is dragging the average VPIP way down.

Or are you mentally averaging the VPIPs across players, regardless of number of hands played? I don't even do this, I just sort by VPIP and look for four or more fish in order to feel happy with the table.

Cheers,
--JTR.

This is one thing that I hate about PT. GTW features are completely useless because they use a weighted average. I wish Pat would change it to be unweighted.
