in a 3 dollar rebuy sat (where most of the play is loose passive)when you have two guys behind you raise on a 8910 flop I'd say if your ahead of their ranges it aint by much. I'm ok folding in this spot. Now if the table was playing active I'd suck it up and stick it in.

Hero is getting 2:1 to call the button if MP folds. Top 2 is too good to fold there IMHO, especially since Hero will still have a strong stack if he loses.

MP's minraise makes it close, but there are so many drawing hands, combo hands, and weaker made hands out there on this flop that I think I'm willing to take a chance.

Hero still has 40BB's even if MP comes along and wins, ya know.

But that's all just my gut reaction. Somebody might be able to demonstrate that I'm way off base by actually doing a little math.

Later,
Che

If you and Che both think its a call I'll concede. Its quite possible that I don't have a realistic idea of what the hand ranges are like in the $3 rebuy. The only reason I offered my opinion in the first place was out of respect for a clever name.

on the other hand, the actual quote is "that's not a knife....now that's a knife" I think.

I'm with you Exit. I think you are going to have to dodge a LOT of bullets here, but you are good right now. As for a set, there are only 5 hand combos that have a set right now. AT, JT, T8, [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], etc etc, exist here a lot more than a set and/or JQ.
