How would your mom know the difference between you depositing and someone else sending you neteller money? It sounds like you lost your roll and are being an internet bum. Have some self respect.

the neteller is linked from her bank account to neteller. she would probably notice when there is a $100 transaction from her bank account going to neteller. she doesnt check neteller, so its not like she goes on there to see transaction history. i would just be playing when shes not home, when at friends houses, etc.
i understand why u think that about internet bum and lost my roll. i dont really know what to say to convince you that im not. its legitament(sp?), so i dont mind

Without looking, I'm going to guess that despite the fact that you can't maintain a bankroll you've been posting advice in the small stakes NL forum.

No, he's been posting asking for advice in Home Poker on how to start a casino in his basement. You should definitely go to that thread and make fun of him there.

As far as bankroll management is concerned, cut him some slack. When I was his age, I was making what seemed like scads of money from my friends playing home poker (which is what I advised OP to do instead of trying to open up a casino). However, I'm not sure that I ever really hung on to it for too long. There was always fast food, gasoline, and Dungeons and Dragons books to buy...not to mention needing handfuls of quarters to waste hours playing cutting edge video games like Gauntlet and Karate Champ.

One thing to remember is that he probably needs his mom's help to deposit at all. He was probably had too little money when he deposited and really couldn't withstand a little bad downswing.

Now, this doesn't mean that he ISN'T a losing player. But he might not be just based on the info we have.

If they had internet poker (or even just internet) available when I was under 18, I'd be sorely tempted to play online. I bet my grades would have suffered too.

first, thanks for taking an open mind to it.

im not really sure if you are referring to me needing help from my mom as in im using her money, but if you are, then thats wrong. i've had to use my own money from the beginning. thats true that i had little room for a bad downswing, at the beginning. but once i got a little lucky early on, i built it up a little bit, and i made a nice profit.
but if you are saying that i need my moms help to deposit because i need her bank information, then yes, you are right.

School will be out in about a month or so(maybe less). Focus on your grades, try to make good grades on your exams, and then you can play as much as you want during the summer.

Of course, this probably won't help if you are bad at poker, which I think may be the case.

(Did I really just type the word poker in OOT?)

While I disagree with their choice to take away poker when you have a pretty decent GPA, they are your parents and they think this is best for you, you are underage, and you shouldn't be sneaking around doing something like that anyways.

Just get your grades up and don't worry about poker. How old are you? Sharpen up your game by playing freeroll tourneys on pokerpages and stuff if you realllllly need the game.

seems to be consensus that i suck at poker. makes sense, cuz im the one asking for a short term loan to play poker. also i dont really have a way of proving myself, because when i played on pacific, pokertracker wasnt yet compatible. but the decision is up to u guys. im not desperate for money, because once i am allowed to deposit, i have plenty to deposit. but i really cant stand waiting longer.

I'm just curious about a few things. How old are you? How long have you been playing poker? And why the HELL would you play at Pacific?
