He's about 12.5-1 to improve to trips by the river, and thats only if villain has an Ace.

Yeah but he won't be getting the right odds all the way, he ahs the right odds if he saw the turn and river for this call, but he will be calling double the bet on the turn, also there's the outside chance of AA because it was capped prelop, so maybe reduce the odds a bit to compensate for the chance of drawing basically dead. Is my thinking flawed here? Is this call right if we don't count any implied odds (though I don't feel we should anyways, only AK won't slow down if the K comes, AQ-AT will)
