screenshot of single window possible?

Is there a way to take a screenshot of a single window rather than taking one of my entire screen with Fn-Print Screen and then editing it in MS Paint.

sorry, I meant is there a way to only take the screenshot of one specific window that is open without then having to crop. I thought there was a way but I cannot find it anywhere.
