Default Suggestions For Next 2+2 Poker Book

While every 2+2er is eagerly awaiting Harrington's forthcoming two volume treatise as well as Fossilman's tome, how about some suggestions from 2+2 posters for books you'd like to see from the 2+2 publishing house.

For instance, DS spoke about a book of poker "problems" in which different scenerios in Hold'em would be given and then Ed would give the answer if it were a low limit game and DS would give the answer if it was a mid or high limit game.

Personally, I'd love to see that, but broken up into two different books one for low limit and one for mid and high. Even though it would cost a little more, I think if they broke it up into two different books, they wouldn't be constrained by situations that only come up in both low and mid/high limit. For instance, how many realistic hands could you give in high limit with 8 people seeing the flop where its raised before the flop where that situation comes up very often in low limit.

Also, how about a book on shorthanded play?

I would really like to see a book on small-stakes no-limit hold em cash games. It seems like most books on the subject of no-limit either deal with high stakes games (like Super/System) or tourneys (Cloutier and McEvoy). I haven't picked up Ciaffone and Reuben yet, so if that book happens to be the definitive work on the subject I apologize, but I would think a SSH-type book on no-limit would be wildly popular and would fill an important niche in the literature.

I agree with the small stakes no limit cash games. 2+2 has numerous limit books, they'll have many tournament no limit books after Harrington and Raymer, but they lack no limit cash games. I'd really like to see one.

Short-handed play, heads up play, final table (nl) play.
