Did I read during the WCOOP that some Pro's names during the event were given. I recall someone said

Scott Fischman = emptyseat88

Really? It's just I find it hard to wonder why he's playing in a $11 rebuy on stars (right now) where I'd imagine top prize can't be more than a couple grand max (once rebuys are done) ??

I've watched 10 minutes and he's bought in 6-8 times. His all-in tactic seems to be push with 63, 52 etc etc to show he's a fish-man [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. Rest of table is getting rich which I presume then he hopes to take it back off them when rebuy ends - if he is who I read he is!!

Still can't fathom him playing at this level

I played with him many times.
Yesterday I was in the Stars 50+5 tourney. He busted out at my table w/ 5 7 clubs.
This was after he took a very bad beat w/ AA.

I soon busted out w/ AK after I hit a king high flop. I pushed, and big stack called w/ 87. he had a 7 on the flop and hit one on the river for lights out which would have put me in 4rth for the tourny at the time.

Does anyone know if he plays at UB under this name (emptyseat88)? I saw a guy at the Omaha 8 2/4 table a couple nights ago with that handle and, during the WSOP broadcast last night, they showed him multitabling at UB (so I assume he must play there under some handle).

I don't really find it that hard to believe. Maybe he is practicing. Maybe he likes playing poker so much that lower stakes don't matter that much. Maybe he says [censored] I'm pretty rich i'll just rebuy 80x because I don't really care. Maybe he likes playing poker alot. etc etc

Come on, can't he play poker if he wants? I had an argument yesterday with someone who claimed there is no reason to play poker other than money. Maybe he's just practicing the event that was available, maybe he is playing with a friend, maybe he just fancied some poker?!?
